Chihuly’s Tropical Glass Oasis
Dale Chihuly’s art exhibit will have you seeing the glass half full and not half empty.

The over-the-top glass sculptures, which currently adorn Fairchild Gardens in Coral Gables, depict the life of the brilliant artist, who also decorated the ceilings of both the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas and the Atlantis Casino in the Bahamas.

The inspiring “garden of glass” is nicely spread out throughout Fairchild Garden’s 83 acres. Instantly, throngs are transported to a dreamy utopia filled with neon-like colors, lights and magic--- a far cry from the hustle and bustle and non-stop rush of Downtown, Miami. The abstract masterpiece evokes romance and hope and certainly makes for a wonderful experience under the South Florida night sky.

Feeling majestic is inevitable throughout the exhibit and connecting with nature in this tropical oasis reminds you that anything is possible. This is certainly true for Chihuly, who has been enlightening crowds with his elaborate and unique glass installations for years. His work has been featured in museums throughout the world, from Halcyon Gallery in London, to the Clinton Presidential Center in Arkansas.

The enchantment behind Chihuly’s sculptures succeed in awakening creativity and splendor while highlighting the beauty of Mother nature.
